With more than a thousand limestone peaks soaring from its crystalline emerald water this area is one of the natural wonders of Vietnam and now one of four World Heritage listed sites in Vietnam. Visitors have constantly marveled at Halong Bays natural beauty. Thien Cung cave ( the cave of the heavenly palace - famous for its stalagmites and stalactites, the cave has only opened to the public since 1998 ). There are many beautiful caves to explore throughout Halong Bay, but perhaps the most interesting and legend-filled of all is the unique winding pathway through the “Heavenly Palace" Thien Cung Cave.
Located just 4km from the harbor, north of Dau Go Island, Thien Cung cave offers a special insight into the magical story-telling past of Vietnamese culture and is a popular stop for the best cruises.

Halong Bay One Day

I booked a 4 hours cruise with Halong Bay One Day

Halong Bay day cruise is just awesome!

I was told, on our trip to Hanoi, that we must see Halong Bay. Since we didn't have a lot of time, we chose the day cruise.
Our guide was Benjamin. He was energetic and funny and very informative.
The ride to the bay, and back was very long, but I expected it, so it wasn't too bad. I found it very interesting, seeing the Vietnamese countryside.
Halong Bay is truly a must see! We went to Heaven cave, and I have never seen anything like it before! Spectacular! Kayaking in the bay was also just wonderful!
